The Companies used to control the market and what they have to say in Traditional Marketing . Customers can only buy what the companies have to offer and say. The Companies control the product Production, Price, Promotion, Placement and the customers opinion about the product
Whereas the New Marketing is more of 2.0. Instead of trying to control the product opinion, you take that opinion and try to give a product that the customer wants. I believe more and more companies now embrace it . Any successful companies for that matter follows the new media. Dell for example is listening and responding to the customers.
The customers are in control and its a good thing,after all the products are for the customers.
